CNH India Plans Capacity Expansion After 800,000 Tractor Milestone
12 May 2026, Noida: CNH India has announced plans to expand its tractor manufacturing capacity after rolling out its 800,000th tractor from the company’s Greater Noida facility.
The Greater Noida plant, operational since 1999, manufactures tractors under the New Holland and Case IH brands for domestic and export markets. The facility has produced 800,000 tractors since inception, with the previous 700,000-unit milestone achieved in 2024.
The company said the plant currently has an annual production capacity of around 60,000 tractors and is being expanded to 70,000 units annually to cater to domestic and export demand. CNH India has also announced plans to establish another tractor manufacturing facility as part of its expansion strategy.
“As a key pillar in CNH’s global manufacturing network, our Noida plant continues to deliver technology-driven solutions, backed by the trust of our customers and our commitment to the future of farming. Rolling out our 800,000th tractor from the Greater Noida facility is a significant milestone that reflects the strength and agility of our manufacturing operations, especially achieved in the shortest time till date – a reflection of our growing volumes in domestic and export markets,” said Ravi Kundra.
Spread across 60 acres, the Greater Noida facility manufactures tractors, engines, transmissions, Power Take-Offs (PTOs), and axles. The plant manufactures more than 3,000 tractor variants across the New Holland and Case IH brands and employs over 4,000 people in India.
Products manufactured at the facility are exported to more than 90 countries across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Australia, and North America. The company said India has become a manufacturing and export base for small tractors serving multiple international markets.
In India, CNH operates through its Case IH, New Holland, and CASE Construction Equipment brands. The company also operates CNH Capital India, which provides financing solutions across its portfolio.
